What if my parent needs a trial day first?

We encourage a trial day. Bring your parent for a morning; you're welcome to stay. No commitment, no fees.

Is there a minimum commitment?

None. Members pay on a monthly basis. You can pause any time with 15 days' notice.

What are the timings?

Standard day-care runs from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. Half-day and weekend options are available on request.

Do you provide pickup and drop?

Yes — door-to-door, within an 8 km radius, in air-conditioned vehicles with a caregiver on board.

What kind of meals are served?

Two fresh, home-style meals plus tea and snacks. Diabetic, low-sodium and soft-food menus are prepared as advised by our nutritionist.

Is a doctor on-site?

A registered nurse is on-site every day. A visiting geriatrician runs a clinic twice a week and is on-call otherwise.

What happens in a medical emergency?

We follow a strict protocol: on-site first response, family alert, and transfer to one of our three partner hospitals via an 8-minute ambulance.

Can Uddhaar manage dementia or Parkinson's?

Yes. Our caregivers are specifically trained in dementia care, fall prevention and Parkinson's mobility support.

Can family visit any time?

Yes. Uddhaar has an open-door policy for family between 10 AM and 5 PM. Grandchildren are especially welcome.
